Norm Shafer, age 77, of Cumming, GA, passed away on September 27, 2021. Although Norm spent his later years in Cumming, he lived in Battle Creek, MI, Chicago, IL, Dayton, OH, Roseville, CA, where he had many friends. Norm was known and loved by many; however, his family was his greatest love. He was a lover of Lake Lanier and boating, along with his Harley Davidsons and cars. Norm was a handyman who loved fixing things and home improvements. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Millie Shafer; best friend, John Schimmel; many other close friends.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Audrey Shafer; daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Steve Walker; grandchildren, Sam and Izzy Walker; older brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Phyllis Shafer; mother-in-law, Armina Wu; sisters-in-law, Laura Wu-Benyshek, Cynthia Wu-Greenberg; many nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at a later date.
