Norman Jay (NJ) Boone of Cumming, GA passed away Monday April 21, 2014. NJ was born on November 10, 1946 in Darby, PA. He spent most of his childhood and teenage years in the Philadelphia/South New Jersey area. He graduated from the West Virginia Institute of Technology with a degree in Printing Management. His career spanned 42 years; the last 30 with Printpack Inc. where he had fervor for improving manufacturing systems and processes. NJ had many passions outside of work. Most notably was his intense love of motor sports and anything automotive. His pride was "Veruca," a 1971 Mini that he modified adding a 225hp JDM Acura/Honda engine and CRV AWD. In addition to cars, NJ was an avid soccer fan spending several years coaching and refereeing youth soccer. He also enjoyed home improvement and landscaping projects. NJ loved not only his own pets but also many others over the years as well. NJ was preceded in death by his parents, Olga May and Norman James Boone. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Gina Boone, his son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Natalie Boone of Cumming, GA as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and godchildren.
