Mr. Norris Sooner Goss, age 71 of Dawsonville, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2010. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Gartrell and Willie Goss; brothers, Jerry, Gaston and Bo Goss. Survivors include his wife, Jean (Gunter Coleman) Goss of Dawsonville; children, Roxyann Quarles of Chatsworth, GA, Stoney and April Goss of Cumming, Tracey and Scott Richardson of Ball Ground, Donna and Joe Taylor of Cumming, Anthony and Lisa Coleman of Cumming, Darlene Coleman of Alpharetta, Robbie and Donna Coleman of Dahlonega; brothers and sister-in-law, Miles and Jean Goss of Cumming, Ronnie Goss of Cumming; sister and brother-in-law. Joan and Rainey Rhoden of Cumming; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 23, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Leroy Blackwell, Rev. Don Westray, Rev. Bill Gunter and Rev. Monroe Gunter officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Friday from 9:00 am until hour of service. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
