Ovalee Austrie Cox

Ovalee Austrie Cox, age 87, of Cumming, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011. She was a lifelong resident of the area and attended New Harmony Baptist Church. Ovalee was a past member of the Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Otis A. Cox and her parents, Tommy and Lela Johnson. Survivors include her daughter, Joan McBrayer; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Pam Cox, Rex and Teressa Cox all of Cumming; grandchildren, Terry Marchman, Tim McBrayer and Darlene, Tambra West and David, Jonathan Stephens, Eric Cox and Andrea, Kristin Cox; great grandchildren, Sidney McBrayer, Hailey McBrayer, Hunter McBrayer, Payton Stephens, Justin Sweat, Jaxon West, Brandon Rael, Brianne Ammans, Cameron Cox, Chandler Cox; and several other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 30, 2011 at New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Purcell and Rev. Danny Orr officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday from 9:00 a.m. until hour of service at the funeral home. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
