Patricia Elaine Heard

Patricia Elaine Heard age 76, of Cumming, GA passed away July 27, 2024 after an extended illness. Patricia “Pat” was born at Crawford Long hospital in Atlanta on April 9, 1948 to parents, Mark and Ruth Mills Heard. She was a lifelong member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church.

Pat was a graduate of and STAR Student at Forsyth County High School in 1966. She graduated from The University of Georgia where she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Pat went on to graduate from Georgia State University with a Master of Accountancy, and shortly after passed the examination to become a CPA. Pat spent her professional career practicing in Atlanta and Shreveport, LA.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, sister Nancy Elise Heard and niece Jessica Elizabeth Heard.

Survivors include sister, Paula Heard Gault Hughes (Robert), brothers Jackson Mark Heard (Nancy) and Samuel Mills Heard (Mary). Nieces and Nephews, Kelley Kohn Story (Sam), Kristin Kohn Martin-Mohr (Doug), Jonathan Mark Heard (Crissy), Caroline Heard Woodard (Jordan), Elizabeth Jane Heard, and Mark Jackson Heard. Great nieces and nephews, Robert Kohn Story, Kohnor Michael Martin, Maryann Elizabeth Story, Kaitlyn Elaine Mohr, Kooper David Martin, and Luke Thomas Heard. Step-nieces and nephews, Michelle Gault Leak, Melanie Gault Martin (Matt), Chris Hughes, and Chandler Barnett.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 30, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Bennett and Rev. Keith Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Coal Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, July 29, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
