After graduation from high school, Patty attended Jackson Business School, where she met her future husband, John Kramer whom she married on May 21, 1949. They lived in Michigan, went to college in Tennessee, and eventually settled in Dallas, Texas, where they raised 4 children. They were long time members of Scofield Memorial Church where they were active with many life-long friends and loved to get together to play “42”.
Patty was a stay-at-home mother until she began a career as a school secretary for Plano Independent School District, where she retired in 1995. It was during her time at Plano ISD, she made many wonderful friends whom she kept up with throughout her life.
In 2007, John and Patty moved to Cumming, Georgia from Texas to live near their youngest daughter, Melody. Here they formed many friendships at their church, First Redeemer, and then after John’s homegoing in 2008, Patty attended Concord Baptist Church. She loved the people there and became active in WMU and the Jimmy Moore Sunday School Class.
Patty loved a good movie, Perry Mason, Murder She Wrote, Matlock, or any other mystery program. She could bake amazing desserts and had a real sweet tooth. She loved anything chocolate. She enjoyed family time, loved deeply, served the Lord her Savior well and was a steadfast prayer warrior.
