Paul Harley Reed, Jr.

Paul Harley Reed, Jr., born July 4, 1934, age 83, of Cumming, passed awaySaturday, September 9, 2017peacefully at his home after an extended illness. He was a ceramic tile setter for 55 years. Working hard to provide for his family, Mr Reed was an avid deer hunter, loved to fish in his earlier years and enjoyed listening to gospel music. He had a heart to help people in times of need. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Paul loved his family and loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you to all family and friends for helping celebrate Pauls 83rdbirthday July 4th. A special thanks to Matthew Jett for putting on an unforgettable fireworks show.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Alice Reed, and his brother Jewel Reed. Wife of 60 years, Myra Reed.

Survivors include sister, Betty J. Karr. Children, Ann and Doyle DeLong, Kim and Joyce Reed, Tony and Neva Reed, Vickie and Rev. Danny R. Bennett, Eric Reed; Grandchildren, Thomas and Dana DeLong, Angela and Paul Johnson, Julie and Josh Hopper, Sam and Kelsey Reed, Margie and Jimmy Payne, Nick and Courtney Reed, Valorie and Jut Carnes, Coby Reed. Great Grandchildren Page Hicks, Victoria Johnson, Rylie Hopper, Max Hopper, Justin Bottoms, Todd Bottoms, Brandon and Kayla Barbella, Victoria Carnes, Jackson Carnes, Stella Mae Reed and a number of nieces and nephews.

A heartfelt thank you Mr. Reeds caregivers, Angela Marsingill, Felicia Thompson, Cindy Jones, Tammy Tinsley and Seasons Hospice Palliative Care of Georgia. Also, a thank you to neighbors and friends, Sherry and Randall Fields.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 10that 3:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Byrd, Rev. Wilburn Ridings and Rev. Bud Sutton officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friendson Saturday, from3:00 to 9:00 pmandSunday, from9:00 amuntil the hour of service.
