Peggy Doice Penrod Bradley

Peggy Doice Penrod Bradley, age 86, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022. She was born in Dongola, Illinois in 1935, to the late Theodore and Hazel Penrod. Peggy was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. While attending Pleasant View Baptist Church, Peggy was the treasurer, and bible school director. She was very active in the church and her community and helped raise many other children in the community. Peggy sold Avon for many years and even won several awards. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Bill Penrod.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Claude F. Bradley, Jr.; children, Deborah (Mike) Roberson; Mark “Tony” (Terrye) Bradley, and Travis (Tammy) Bradley; grandchildren, Shawn Dacus, Nicholas Dacus, Levi Bradley, Eric Bradley, Adam Mullis, and Eli Bradley; with numerous step grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and siblings, Ted, and Jerry Penrod; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Bud Sutton, Rev. Joey Gilbert, and Rev. Ronnie Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service.
