Peggy Jo Young

Peggy Jo Young, age 77, of Cumming, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Peggy was born in Monticello, GA to Arthur D. and Bessie Reid Simmons and moved to Cumming in 1983. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Earnest R. Young of Cumming; children, Earnie and Christa Young of Phenix City, AL., Darrell and Tracey Young of Lawrenceville, Joseph and Erin Young of Cumming; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 15th at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Garry English and Rev. Dennis Bottoms officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, from 2 p.m. until hour of the service.
