Perry Ellis Henson, Jr.

Perry Ellis Henson, Jr., 76, of Cumming passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024. Born January 28, 1948 in LaGrange, GA to the late Perry Ellis and Louise Roberts Henson,where he ran track in high school. Mr. Henson began his long career in automotive repair at the young age of 15. He enjoyed coaching baseball, football and basketball, even coaching his sons as adults. Mr. Henson also loved fishing. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Nicholson, a daughter, Linda Ann Flournoy and 2 sisters, Ann Rogers and Dorothy Githens.

Survivors include his children, Teresa Henson Lawson, John Nicholson, Jennifer Nicholson, Perry Ellis Henson, III, Jessica Henson and Joshua Henson; 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 6, at 4:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
