Peter Martin Vis

Peter Martin Vis, 54, of Cumming passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015. He proudly served his nation in the United States Navy, was a Master Gardener and Boy Scout Volunteer. He was a member of Midway United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Karen, of Cumming, and his mother, Lois Vis of Winchester, VA; son William Vis of Atlanta, and daughter Martina Vis of Athens, GA; brother David (Nancy) Vis, Cumming, sister Virginia (George) Harinec of Front Royal, VA, and sister Sally (Skip) Grove, Winchester, VA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev Nancy Meeker officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 7 between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home. Interment will be at Georgia National Cemetery, 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 8.
