Peter Paul "Pete" Martin

Peter (Pete) Paul Martin of Forsyth County passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the age of 49. He was born May 13, 1965 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Theodore Martin and Margaret (Peg) Martin. Upon his graduation from high school in 1983 he served in the United States Army until 1986 and then served in the United States Navy, both of which he was honorably discharged. At the time of his death Martin was employed by Atlanta Courier in Atlanta, Ga. Martin was preceded in death by a brother, Jonathan Martin of Pittsburgh, Pa. He is survived by his brothers Thomas Martin of Dahlonega, Ga. and Theodore (Tracy) Martin of Cumming, Ga.; nephews Garrett (Kayleigh) Martin of Dahlonega, Ga., Zachary Martin, U.S. Air Force, and Dylan Martin, Cumming, Ga.; niece Brooke Martin of Cumming, Ga.; great-nephew Logan Martin of Dahlonega, Ga.; aunt Carol Etzrodt of Lower Burrell, Pa; cousins Cheryl (Kenny) Barner and David Etzrodt of Natrona Heights, Pa, and Debbie (Mark) Davis, Sarver, Pa. Martin will be laid to rest with full military honors at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Ga. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 15th, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Forsyth County Humane Society.
