Phillip G. Hulsey

Phillip G. Hulsey, age 76, of Cumming passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016. Phillip was an engineer with the Georgia Department of Transportation, retiring after 32 years of service. He loved to travel with his family and loved his dogs, Maggie and Belle. Phillip was a member of First Baptist Church of Cumming and the Welcome Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Merine Hulsey. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Cathy Hulsey; son, John W. Hulsey, both of Cumming; several cousins and other relatives. Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 20, at 11:00 a.m. at Sawnee View Gardens with Rev. Ken Danuser and Dr. Bob Jolly officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Cumming for the new children's addition. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
