Polly Ann (Long) Garrett

Polly Ann (Long) Garrett gained her angel wings at home on January 29, 2025, surrounded by her family. MS no longer has a hold on her, she received the ultimate healing. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Polly is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Howard Garrett; son, Jeremy Day and his companion, Sarah, of Gainesville; daughter, Jennifer Day of Dawsonville; mother, Nancy Long of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Anna, Kayla, Macie, Brantley, Kendal and Kadence; great grandchild, Ezra; bonus daughter, Dawn Garrett and her companion, John, of Cumming; bonus grandchildren, Rusty and Ashley, Craig and Kelly; bonus great grandchildren, Charlotte, Garrett, Philip, Ethan and Mia; brother and sister-in-law, Bud and Michelle Long; sister, Elaine Deaton and her companion, Lanny Courson; along with many other family members.

Polly is preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Willene Long and her daddy, Lonnie Long.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 2, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Byrd officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
