Randall G. Bledsoe

Mr. Randall G. Bledsoe, age 81, of Cumming passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014. Born January 16, 1933 in Dickson, TN, Mr. Bledsoe was retired after 31 year with Delta Air Lines where he developed his love of airplanes. A U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War , he met the love of his life, the former Julia Jeannette Shackleford, at an Army hospital. Mr. Bledsoe was also a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Dawsonville. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Julia Jeannette Bledsoe of Cumming; children, Kenneth Wayne Bledsoe of Dallas, TX, Julie Ann Owenby of Dallas, GA, Gary Martin Bledsoe of Jacksonville, FL, Debra Fay Sims of Statesboro, GA; sisters, Evelyn Kemp and Lorriane Smith, both of Hendersonville, TN; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 25, at 11:00 A.M. at Lighthouse Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Blackstock officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral home Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
