Randall Gary Hornsby, age 52, put a stop to his pain and suffering that he has been struggling with for years, on August 25, 2015.
Randy was survived by his daughter Melanie Kittrell, his grandchildren Kailey and Xavier Sedgeman, and Reilly Kittrell, his brothers Frankie, Todd, and Tony Hornsby, his first wife Lisa Hornsby and latest wife Karin Hornsby, and son-in-law Jordie Kittrell. Randy was predeceased by his mother Marie Gearin, his father George Hornsby, and his sister Tina Taylor.
Randy was born April 4, 1963 and was a resident of Alpharetta Georgia most of his life. Randy''s younger days were spent with family painting houses. He later became a security guard at Peidmont Hospital, and I just recently found out how much fun he had and enjoyed the company of everyone there. Yard work was his specialty. He made sure his yard looked the best it could. I had the opportunity to work with him, and he taught me to do things the right way, no matter how tough it might be. He was a hard worker and took great pride in what he did.
Randy liked to be outdoors, hunting, fishing, or just tinkering with something. He spent hours observing nature. He was always telling me about the birds, chickens, dogs . Many people didn''t understand Randy''s ways but the ones that did know he is a loving man with big heart.
When I picture Randy, I see him scratching lottery tickets and drinking a red bull. My dad told me he did not want a service, and I will respect his wishes. I know some people need to have closure or want to pay their respects, so go outside, drink a red bull, look up to the sky and show Randy your respect doing something that he loved.
