Randall Robert Kintz, 27 of Cumming, GA passed away on December 14, 2018 at his home.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Samantha Searles Kintz of Cumming, GA and father Randy (Cheryl) Kintz of McConnelsville, Ohio; loving little sister Alexandria Kintz of Cumming, GA and step-sister Alexis Mangels of Athens, Ohio; Maternal Great Grandmother Jean Searles of North Olmstead, Ohio, Maternal grandparents Kathy (Nagy mama) and John (Jani papa) Simandi; Paternal grandparents Peggy and Mark Bishman of Massillon, Ohio and Ronald and Jean Kintz of McConnelsville, Ohio; Step-Grandmothers, Nancy Searles of Willoughby, Ohio and Patty Bolyard of McConnelsville, Ohio; 2 very special Aunts, Michael Anne Searles and Meghan (Tyree) of Cumming, GA; as well as many other Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Randy had a humorous personality and huge heart, he could see a comical side in the direst situation. His laughter was infectious and could bring a smile to anyones face with his quick wit and off collar jokes. One of his biggest joys in life was making someone smile and filling them with joy. He had a great love for family and friends, especially his sister Alex who was his wonder twin not by birth but by their love, emotional bonding and life experiences. Randy had many different nicknames (Dexter, Boy, Pedro, Brudder, Randall Tips or even Knucklehead) and they all had a reason or purpose, but he was always a friend and knew no stranger. Most recently Randy was working as a Veterinary Technician and was able to put his high intelligence and smarts to work for a great cause. We were blessed by God to have such a unique gifted soul as our son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandchild or friend for 27 years.
Whether he was battling zombies on Xbox or his demons from his addiction, he did it with grace, intensity and minimal fanfare asking for no recognition. Sadly, Randy was not able to manage his own personal addiction, however he was always supportive and willing to go above and beyond to help other addicts in their time of need.
He is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather, Robert D. (Pee-Paw) Searles Jr. and Uncle Robert D. (Bobby) Searles III.
Friends may call on the family and pay their respects from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Thursday December 20th, 2018 followed by a Service by Father Roy Lee at 2:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA. A Celebration of his life and a Mass will take place at a later date.
