Rebecca "Becky" Jo Rusciano

Rebecca Jo Rusciano (Becky) passed away at home on April 20, 2025. Becky was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend to many. She was a cancer survivor but could not beat it the second time after over two years of treatment and home hospice care.

Becky was a woman of many talents including quitting, gardening, cooking, decorating and being a dedicated and loving wife and mother. She checked her calendar daily to make sure all birthdays, anniversaries and other events of loved ones were remembered with a phone call, text or card. Her impact on our family and friends was immeasurable. Becky made friends wherever she went and always saw the best in people.

Gardening was her passion. She was a certified Georgia Master Gardener who loved nature and could tell you the botanical and common names of any plant, flower or tree. She willingly shared her knowledge with everyone she met. Becky may have been petite in stature, but she had a giant heart. She never met a person, animal, bird or any of God's creatures that she did not love.

Becky was born in New Hampton, lowa on April 13, 1947. She is preceded in death by her father Lloyd Jordan and is survived by mother, Mary Janelle Jordan, husband of over 52 years, Tony Rusciano, daughters Sarah Rusciano Davis (Dave), Jennie Rusciano Rockwood (Thomas), grandsons Max and Alex Davis, step-grandsons Parker and Hudson Rockwood and brothers Kim and Bruce Jordan.

We would like to thank Capstone Hospice staff and nurses for their dedication and care for Becky. Special thanks to our case nurses, Kristen and Silvana, who helped our family get through a very difficult time. Our thanks also go to Valerie Henderson, an amazing caregiver, who treated Becky with kindness and compassion.

A private family service will be held. There will be a celebration of a life well-lived and loved at a future date.
