Rebecca Lynn Thompson

Rebecca Lynn Thompson, age 39, of Cumming, passed away at her home Saturday, May 25th, 2024. Born in Lancaster, CA, she loved weekend trips to the beach and spending time with friends. After relocating to Atlanta, GA in 2006, she developed a love for the mountains and enjoyed going to the river and fishing with her kids.

She loved all things vintage, enjoyed photography, playing poker, and baking sweets for family. She was a devoted mom, daughter, granddaughter, and sister.

She was preceded in death by her Grandfather, Preston Lee Thompson.

Survivors include daughter Ember McBride and son Mason Richey; parents Jon and Julie Edwards; grandparent Carolyn Thompson; siblings Jillian Wilkie, Michael Willey, Jeremiah Willey, Jessica Riley; nephew and niece Branch and Lenore Wilkie; along with a host of family members that loved her.

Memorial services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Friday, May 31, 2024, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
