Redmond John Barrett

Redmond John Barrett, age 94, of Cumming, GA, formerly of Sandwich and Cambridge, Mass. passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023. John was born in 1928, to the late John Redmond and Mary Gertrude Barrett. He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Sandwich, Mass. He was very active in his parish and community. He served at the local food pantry and the elder services. John was a proud United States Navy veteran and served during the Korean War.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Jane Ellen Barrett; son and daughter-in-law, John and Yeran Barrett; grandchildren, Nicole Barrett, Courtney (Michael Chase) Dutton, Scott (Sydney) Barrett, and Anthony Frank; great grandchildren, Madelyn Dutton, and the soon to arrive, Jackson Barrett; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
