Renee Boyd

Mrs. Renee Boyd departed this life on Sunday, February 2, 2025. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to her parents, Raymond and Betty Williams, and was raised in northwest Alabama. For over 30 years, Renee made this area her home, which will now be her forever resting place.

Renee was known and remembered as a fierce, passionate, and loving person. Whatever she did in life, she was all-in, whether it was her business endeavors or her beliefs. She enjoyed hiking, being in nature, listening to country music, spending time with family, engaging in activism, cheering for Roll Tide football, and studying health and the human body. A selfless individual, Renee always put God and others before herself.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Betty Williams.

She is survived by her loving husband, Melvin Boyd; her son, Jared Boyd; and her siblings, Raymond Williams Jr., Misty Cochran (Josh), and Shannon Rea.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Renee Boyd will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home, with Rev. Marty Darracott officiating. Burial will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. Visitation will take place on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the service hour.
