Rev. Phillip Carl "Phil" Christopher

Rev. Phillip Carl "Phil" Christopher, age 69, of Cumming, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020. He was a member of Longstreet Baptist Church and during his ministry of 37 years, he had pastored many Churches in Forsyth County. Phil retired from Bell South with 38 years of service and was a Mason and Shriner. He loved his bird dogs, quail hunting and his granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Sara Christopher; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Jessie Richards.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Richards Christopher; sons and daughters-in-law, Rev. Todd and Tonia Christopher, Cory and Liz Christopher; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Lynn Christopher; niece, Stacey Cochran; grandchildren, Alex (Dale) Keyt, Madison Christopher, Anna Christopher, Izzy Christopher; great granddaughter, Bravery Keyt; and a number of other family and friend also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 7, 2020 at 11:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd Christopher and Rev. Stephen Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Thursday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am until hour of the service.
