Rev. Phillip F. Standridge, age 63, of Alpharetta passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016. Phillip was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Germany and was employed as a tire technician with Southeast Freight Line. As a minister of the Gospel, he served many churches including New Hope Baptist Tabernacle and Norcross Baptist Tabernacle. Phillip was a great guitar player and loved his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ruth Standridge; brothers, Doug Standridge and Morris Standridge. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Amanda Standridge of Alpharetta; sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Rebekah Standridge of Loganville, Jesse and Carrie Standridge of Gainesville, Marcus and Kristie Harwell of Monroe; daughters and sons-in-law, Tonya and Sean Nolan of Monroe, Hope Jones of Monroe; 11 grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Deborah Standridge of Kennesaw, David and Betty Standridge of Royston; sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Carter Foster of Royston; sister-in-law, Dorothy Standridge; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 21, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Casper, Rev. Billy Lord and Rev. Dave Holbrook officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow at Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
