Richard Van Arwood

Richard Van Arwood, age 86, of Calhoun, GA passed away on January 12^th, 2024.  He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.  Richard was a veteran of the United States Air Force.  He retired from a career in Manufacturing Management.  Richard was married to his high school sweetheart, Nieta Page for over 66 years.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Homer Chester and Ada Samantha Arwood.

Richard is survived by his wife, Dorothy Nieta Arwood; daughter, Keli (Todd Thomas) Arwood; son, Jeff (Michelle) Arwood; grandchildren, Heather (Brandon) Davis, Taylor (Alexandra) Hilliard, Meaghan Hilliard, Ada Arwood; great grandchildren, Zachary, Colton, Dawson, and Brinley.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 20^th, 2024, at 3:00 PM, at Calhoun UMC. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
