Richard Emmitt Martin

Richard Emmitt Martin, age 61, of Cumming, passed away Friday, February 22, 2013. He was a very loving husband, a wonderful daddy and Papa. We were very blessed to have him for a while and he will be greatly missed by all. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt and Jean Martin. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Judy Bennett Martin of Cumming; children, Neil and Lori Martin of Huntsville, AL, Sandy and Eric Moore of Cumming, Cindy and Stanley Shadburn of Cumming, Jessie and Casey Gravitt of Dawsonville; In-laws, Gene and Judy Bennett of Cumming, Cathy and Amos Fields of Cumming, Sandra and Scotty Hames of Cumming; grandchildren, Jack, Margaret and Miley Martin, Wesley and Sam Moore, Emma, Veralea and Otis Shadburn, Case and McCoy Gravitt; and his dog, Millie. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 24th at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Bennett and Rev. Johnny Hanna officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Sunday from 11:00 am until hour of the service.
