Richard Jackson "Jack" Moseman

Richard Jackson "Jack" Moseman, age 73, of Cumming, passed away on April 7, 2016. He was a wonderful, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He had a servant's heart, and loved his family. Everything he did, he did for them. Jack never met a stranger. He was extremely active in the Ducktown community; on many a Saturday morning he could most often be found at Evans Service Station. He lived life with great energy and enthusiasm. Those that knew him, knew that he was full of life, love and generosity. He was always available with a welcoming heart, a helping hand and, when necessary, a little word of advice. He will be so dearly missed by those he leaves behind. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Frances Moseman and his brother, John R. Moseman. Jack is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Moseman; children, Angela (Rick) Byers of Dawsonville, Deborah (Joe) Thornton of Cumming, Kathy (Mike) Spidel of Jasper, David (Leigh) Moseman of Waco, TX, Kelly (Jacques) Claudon of Cumming; sister-in-law, Helen Wilbanks; grandchildren, Angie Byers, Amy Byers, Alexa (Bart) Bruce, Anneka Byers, Mary Frances Thornton, Emily Thornton- Naughtin (Michael) Naughtin, Charlton Echols, Mallory Echols, Katherine (Derek) Bruce, Katherine Carolyn Moseman, Olivia Claudon, Avery Claudon; great grandchildren, Avett Bruce, Frances Harper Thornton- Naughtin, Josephine Thornton- Naughtin, his beloved dog, Martha Mae Moseman and many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Kathy Stasko officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will received friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of arrangements.
