Mr. Richard L. Stine, age 64 of Cumming, GA passed away Monday, December 7, 2009 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Lottie Stine; brother, Robert Stine and sister, Vivian Smith. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Sherry Suereth Stine of Cumming; son, Brian Stine of Alpharetta; daughter and son-in-law, Christine and David Moran of Alpharetta; granddaughters, Kelly and Shannon Moran of Alpharetta; brother and sister-in-law, Warren S. Jean Stine of Dover, PA; sister and brother-in-law, JoAnn and Richard Dietz of York, PA; also survived by many long time friends. Mr. Stine was a Boy Scout. He was a 1962 graduate of York High School and a 1981 graduate of Marywood University. He was a former member of York County Social Club. He was a former member of the York County, PA Planning Commission. He was a co-founder of Lou Gehrig Little League in East Amherst, NY. He was an ALTA coordinator for many years. He was a former member of the Architectural Committee for Wake County, NC. He was on the Board of Directors at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, NC. He was a former member of NACORE. He was a former owner of Paradix Corp. dba Fantastic Sams Hair Salons in Eastern NC region. He was a devoted and dedicated employee of IBM for nearly 40 years. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 11:00 am in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tom Kenny officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 12th from 10:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church building fund at 10250 Haynes Bridge Rd. Alpharetta, GA 30022 or to the Visiting Nurse Health Association at 6610 Bay Circle Suite C Norcross, GA 30071. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
