Richard Lee Fowler

Richard Lee Fowler, age 64, of Royston, GA., passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Alpharetta, GA. Richard was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He retired in 2002 from Fulton County Board of Education after 28 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy A. and Bertha P. Fowler and his sister Martha Jane Ridings. Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Betty Robinson Fowler of Royston; daughters and sons-in-law, April and Lee Williams of Santa Rosa Beach, FL., Melanie and Jason Lloyd of Anderson, S.C., daughter from another marriage, Tori Miller of Texas; brother and sister-in-law Harold and Carolyn Fowler of Carnesville, Ga.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Alton Moore of Hartwell, Ga., Rita and Sonny Petty of Westminster, S.C., Demetra Walker of Winder, GA.; grandsons, Stabler Williams of FL., Jackson Lee Lloyd of S.C.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Catherine Moore and Phillip Poe of N.C., Dale and Cindy Robinson of N.C.; several nieces , nephews and other relatives . Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011, at Bethany Baptist Church with Reverend Sam Rickett, Dr. Jay Hill and Rev. Stephen Northcutt officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday, January 14, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from noon until the hour of service. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
