Richard Leon Williams was born on December 21st, 1936. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and servant of the Lord. He was called home on Monday, September 5th, 2022. 

Rich is preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Linnae Williams, and his son, Brian Williams. He is survived in death by his wife of sixty years, Diane Williams; his daughter Leslie (Jimmy) Caviness; grandchildren, Brittney (Yorx) Arevalo, Jamie (Christina) Caviness, Lacey Caviness, Jake Williams, Jonah Caviness, Jarred Caviness, Sydney Williams and Averie Caviness; and great-grandchildren, Brandon, Hallie, and Chase Arevalo.

Rich was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin then moved to Atlanta, GA in 1967 where he has lived since. He graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering and then served our country in the Army and National Guard. Rich loved the Green Bay Packers, had a great love for all things involving trains and anything involving his grandchildren. He loved being a servant of the Lord, he was very active and involved in ministry throughout his entire life. He was still a full-time employee of Security Key as a Senior Technical Support Specialist; he loved his job.

Rich’s life will be memorialized in a private ceremony between family and close friends. If you are interested in sending flowers to the family, please send directly to the family.
