Riley Perry Odom

Riley Perry Odom, age 68, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023. He was born in 1955, to the late Riley Preston and Alice Virginia Odom. Perry enjoyed traveling and going to the beach. He loved working on cars, playing pool and watching older movies. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, David Odom.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Myrtie Odom; children, Samuel Phillip Odom and special friend Michelle McDaniel, and Daniel Joseph Odom and wife, Amanda Odom; grandchild, Adelynn Grace Odom; brothers, Jesse (Nadine) Odom, Dennis Odom, and Kenneth (Melissa) Odom; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Pastor Austin Houston officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

The family is requesting since there will be no graveside that you send potted plants that may be taken home and planted or kept in memory of Perry.
