Robert Bob Henry Free

Robert Bob Henry Free, age 91, of Cumming, GA, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017, following an extended illness. Bob was a founding member and deacon of Siloam Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. He was a WWII veteran of the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Free; parents, Jake and Dovie Free; brothers, Clayton, Will, and Emory Free; and sisters, Ethel Sosebee, Mandy Free, Suz Grogan and Ella Evans.

He is survived by his son, Melvin Free; daughters and sons-in-law, Melba Ree (Jim) Cole, and Annette (Rev. Ronald) Pruitt; grandchildren, Michael Cole, Robert (Mallory) Cole, Alan (Melanie) Pruitt, Rev. Eric (Jessica) Pruitt; great grandchildren, Hailey, Amy, Bryson, J.T., Elijah, Braylon, and Presley; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Free will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Byrd, Rev. Ronald Pruitt, Rev. Kenney Sutton and Rev. Eric Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. also on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
