Robert E Lee

Robert E. Lee, age 96, of Dawson County, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016. He was married for 76 years in June to his loving wife, Voncile Tinsley Lee. Robert was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Thad and Jona; four sisters, Mary, Zona, Margaret and Oma and two grandsons, Mickey Woods and Samuel Henderson.. Robert is survived by his wife, Voncile Lee; son and daughter in law, Danny and Reginia Lee; daughter, Shirley Moore; daughter and son in law, Joyce and Jimmy Henderson all of Dawsonville; daughter and son in law, Evelyn and Jerry Woods of Cumming; 8 grandchildren, Caroline Gaddis, Jeffery Woods, Cindy Burtz, Brandi Treadway, Andrew Henderson, John Lee, Jill Tinsley and Katie Hornsey; 11 great grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Bottoms and Rev. Scott Sorrells officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 2 to 6 P.M. and on Monday, from 2 to 4 p.m. While flowers will be accepted, donations may be made to Zion Hill Baptist Church.
