Robert K. "Bubba" Stratton

Robert K. "Bubba" Stratton, age 54, of Cumming, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013. Bubba had two rules in life, first "don't sweat the small stuff", and second "It's all small stuff." One of his favorite sayings was happiness is not having what you want, it's wanting what you have. One of his greatest joys in life was spending time with his grandson, Ben, and just getting started with his granddaughter, Piper. Family was first in Bubba's life as well as football. Bubba enjoyed spending time in Elberton, GA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Stratton and Mary Stratton; and nephew, Bryan Coleman. Bubba is survived by his partner, Deborah Turner Gee; her children, Michaelyn Jones, Chastity Vinson; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Dempsey and Piper Jones; sisters, Susan Richardson and Jerri Coleman; nieces, Leslie Watts and Jennifer Bryson; great nieces, Alexa and Danielle Watts, Kaylan Bryson; great nephew Brandon Bryson and other loving relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 29 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from noon until the hour of service.
