Robert Rickett

Robert Rickett, age 79, of Cumming, GA, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018. Robert served 30 years with the Cumming Police Department, retiring as the Assistant Chief. He is preceded in death by his mother, Grace Brown; son, James Luck and his grandson, Anthony Luck.

Survivors include his loving wife, Betty Rickett; children, Wayne Luck of Cumming, Wanda and Mike Letson of Gillsville, Scotty and Mary Kendrix of Cumming; grandchildren, Tiffani and Robert Powell of Dahlonega, John and Amanda Luck of Cumming, Alicia and Rob Ringlehan of Niceville, FL, Allison Kendrix of Cumming; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Cumming Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Caine and Rev. Jack Biddy officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, from 1 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
