Robert William Carney

Robert William Carney, PhD, 87 passed away after a brief illness May 9, 2011 at home in Cumming, GA.

Dr. Carney, a Professor of Business Management at Georgia Tech for 40 years, traveled worldwide as a business management speaker. He was also a veteran of the Army Air Core serving in India during World War II.

Dr. Carney enjoyed landscaping, bird watching, his Koi pond, and the symphony. He loved throwing an annual Garden Party at his home for his family and friends. Those who knew him are honored and blessed to have had him in their lives.

In memory of Dr. Carney contributions to Georgia Tech would be warmly received.
