A leader in his field, he contributed significantly to Pain Medicine and Regenerative Medicine, training many doctors who became leaders in their own right. He held board certifications from a wide range of medical specialties. Dr. Windsor was a tireless worker who valued discipline and hard work.
Beyond his medical achievements, Robert was a former powerlifter and exercised every morning. He firmly believed in staying healthy and active throughout all phases of life. He loved lifting weights, scuba diving, skiing, skydiving, hosting parties, and cruising the lake on his boat. He was born in Dallas, Texas and moved to Atlanta, GA in 1989. He lived in Sandy Springs, GA for 18 years before moving to Cumming, GA on Lake Lanier in 2007 until his sudden passing.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Robert's personal life was marked by love from many dear friends and family. He is survived by his loving sister, Elaine Friestman, and six children.
