Robert Wofford "Bobby" Edwards

Robert Wofford "Bobby" Edwards, age 87, of Cumming, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020 at his home. Bobby was a member of Chapel Hill Dunwoody Church where he had served as a prayer pastor for over 20 years. He retired from AT&T after 35 years of serving in a management position. He had been involved with Briarcliff Community Sports Association where he served as coach, president, vice president, board member or where he was needed. Bobby was a United States Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wofford and Mattie Bell Edwards; sister, Cindy Sexton.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marian Edwards; children, Cary (Melissa) Edwards, Karen Cabero; three grandchildren, Brittni (Andrew) Booth, Maggie Edwards, Nicholas Cabero; sister, Ninelle Johnson; niece and nephews, Roy Hickman, Laura George, Brent Sexton and other relatives.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Chapel Hill Dunwoody Church with friend and pastor Dennis Lacy officiating. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
