Ronald Michael Yurick

It is with immense sorrow that we share the passing of Ronald (Ron) Yurick aged 76. He was born in 1948 in McKeesport, PA to Lawrence Yurick and Margaret Yurick.

He is survived by his Wife Carol, his Son Mike, Daughter-in-law Laura, his Grandchildren Wyatt and Everett, his Sister, Margie, Brother, Tim, Nieces, Nephews, and the Caldwell Family that considered him a Grandfather. He is preceded in death by his Parents and Brother Larry Yurick.

Ron leaves behind a legacy that few achieve. His father Lawrence was a good man and Ron always strived to uphold the standards his Dad personified. Ron’s humility and humble nature never allowed him to see that he was leaving behind even bigger shoes to fill himself. Ron was steadfast in his morals and ethics and was not shy about sharing if you were off track. He knew what was truly important and cared deeply. He was raised Catholic and had strong Christian values.

His candor and consistency leave behind a lasting memory and comfort to continue as if he were by our side. While we wish he was physically here, we know exactly what his advice and suggestions would be. He was very personable, conversation came easily to him, and he could strike up a lively dialogue with anyone.

Those that knew him, still know him, and love him for who he was. He was selfless, caring, and tried to make everyone laugh. He was the king of the Dad joke groaner and always had ideas for games and things for people to do to have a fun time. He loved the woods, the mountains, and the fresh North Georgia mountain lakes. He enjoyed nature for what it is and was content basking in the beauty that surrounds us. While he never wanted to wear fancy clothes day to day, he was known as the first to put on his suit and tie and projected professional confidence. He was a very smart man and could hold his own on most topics. He loved this country and wanted it to be an even better place for the generations to come. We believe the influence he had on the children around him will give them the ability to do just that.

He grew up in Western Pennsylvania and had big dreams that he accomplished. He married and moved to California, had a child, and came back to be near family. He spent the first half of his career in medical sales where he was highly successful. Midway through his adult life, he reinvented himself and started another successful endeavor with his Business Brokerage and M&A firm, where he ultimately became a licensed Broker. He provided a beautiful life for his family, but his true legacy is one that will be with all of those that he influenced for the rest of their lives. His physical vessel will be deeply missed, but we know that he is watching over us and is finally without any of the pain that he had endured for so long. He was an amazing man and will not be forgotten. A private service to honor Ron’s life will be announced soon, details of which can be received from family members.

We love you, Dad, you are my Father, my best friend, my confidant, and will forever be my rock and a source of strength. I am lucky to have you and am grateful for the time we had on this Earth together. I’m looking forward to seeing you again one day, when we join in the great beyond.

With deepest love and sincerity, your Son and Wife.
