Rosalie Pruitt Banks

Passed Away: 03/07/2009 Rosalie Pruitt Banks, age 96 of Durham, NC, Louisburg, NC, and Helen, Georgia passed away at Willow Garden Assisted Living in Toccoa, Georgia on Saturday, March 7. 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Clarence Harry Banks, Jr.

Survivors include her son, Bill Banks and wife Robin of Gastonia, North Carolina; daughter, Marti Kimsey and husband Bill of Robertstown, GA; sister, Ruby Parks of North Wilkesboro, NC; grandchildren, Barton Kimsey and wife Anne of Gainesville, GA; Billy Kimsey of Oakwood, GA; Andy and Mark Banks of Raleigh, NC; Dede Banks Smith and husband Steve of Arlington, VA. Great grandchildren Lydia and Bret Kimsey, Sophia and Lincoln Smith.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14th, 2009 at Center Baptist Church in Helen, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions can be made to the building fund of the Center Baptist Church, 109 Elrod Road Helen, GA 30545.
