Rosemarie Hollman

Rosemarie Cessario Hollman, lovingly known to her family and friends as "Dollie", at the age of 93, passed away on October 9 in her home of 49 years in Atlanta, Georgia.


A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am, November 23 in Atlanta at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. There will be a private burial at a later date.


Dollie was born in Meriden, Connecticut to Dominick and Catherine Cessario on February 8, 1925. She went to Meriden High School where she met and married the one and only love of her life, Charlie Hollman. They married on July 12 ,1946 in Meriden and immediately honeymooned in Cape Cod. She had a very short career with International Silver Company, but her lifelong career and passion was being an exceptionally devoted wife to Charlie, while beautifully raising her 5 children, and sweetly loving her 13 grandchildren who call her Mimi and 6 great grandchildren who call her Gigi.


Dollie is preceded in death by her mother, father, seven brothers, three sisters, and son-in-law Tom Maguire.


Dollie is survived by her grieving husband Charlie, her children Linda Maguire, Debbie and Lance Doyal, Diane and Roy Torbert, Doug and Jane Hollman, and Lisa Jones, her grandchildren Kelly and Andrew Caudell, Mauri and Greg Brune, Buck Doyal, Ivey and Jon Rucket, Phil and Casey Larson, Alex Rodbell, Charlie, Hillary and Rebecca Hollman, Mary Courtney and Kit Southwick, Clay and Laura Jones, Tessa and Troy Jones and her great grandchildren Mac and Thomas Brune, Lola Rucket, Trip and Ellie Larson, and Henry Jones.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Christine Lane and the other loving caregivers that helped so selflessly in our time of greatest need. Thank you to our friends and family for all of your love and encouragement through this difficult journey. We are so grateful to our dear mother for all she taught us with her words and her exemplary life. Her beautiful smile and wonderful laugh will be missed by all.
