Roy Emory Johnson

Roy Emory Johnson, age 80, of Cumming, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Northside Forsyth Hospital. Roy is preceded in death by his mother and father, Floyd, Sr., and Georgie Johnson and beloved wife, Bebe Johnson. Roy is survived by his daughter, Cindy Laney; grandchildren, Jessica Laney Lusk, Chris Laney and Scott Laney; great-grandchildren, Abby Lusk and Ellison Lusk; brother, Floyd Johnson, and many other loving family members. Roy was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all. A special thank you to the medical staff and "special angel" at Northside Forsyth Hospital for their loving care and support. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 18th and from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 19th followed by funeral services for Roy at the Church at 2:00 pm. Roy will be laid to rest at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton. In lieu of flowers, Roy's family is requesting that donations be made in his honor to The National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
