JACOBSEN, ROY

Roy Jacobsen, 82, of Cumming, GA passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at home with his family at his side after succumbing to lung cancer.

Roy was born in Chicago, IL on August 4, 1928 to Holger and Agnes Jacobsen. Roy was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, an avid golfer, and a devoted husband and father.

Roy is survived by his wife Ruth, his sister Virginia Louis of Oak Lawn, IL. his son Robert and his wife Melissa, his granddaughters Brittany and Erin, and his grandson Robert Jr. No services will be held as per Roy's wish.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a charity involved with the treatment of cancer.
