Royce Clifford Cash, born 8/22/1932, flew away Sunday May 5, 2024 peacefully and joyfully ready to be reunited with his son, Randy Cash and his granddaughter Jennifer Lipham who proceeded him in death along with his parents Agbert and Irene Cash.
He leaves behind his wife of 71 years Sarah Cash and his daughter Deborah Cash along with his two sisters Joyce Cash Samples and Judy Cash Bennett. He also leaves behind a granddaughter, Samantha and 4 great grandchildren, Miriam, Isaac, Vincent and Victoria. He leaves behind 3 son in law’s and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He spent his career making hand tooled saddles for Bona Allen saddle company and retired from his profession and became a full-time blackberry salesman and western moviegoer in his home recliner. He enjoyed riding his golf cart on the same land in South Forsyth where he grew up as a small boy up to his death- 91 years later.
He was known as a prankster who enjoyed telling jokes and stories, watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow and always wanted to work as hard as he could in his garden to grow vegetables for his family. He was a loyal husband, father, grandfather and friend who never turned away a stray animal and would go for days without food so his pets could eat.
He was a lifelong member of Dave’s Creek Baptist Church and his funeral will take place at Dave’s Creek Baptist Church Friday May 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM and visitation will occur prior to from noon to 2:00 PM officiated by Reverend Carrel Pruitt and Reverend Blake Samples.
