Ruby Hulsey Brown

Ruby Hulsey Brown 93, of Cumming, Ga, passed peacefully on October 6th. Born May 11, 1929 in Hoschton, Ga.  She is preceded in death by daughter Angela Faye Brown, husband Jack H Brown of Dames Ferry, Ga, parents Ace and Emma Hulsey, and nine brothers and sisters. Ruby attended high school in Buford, Ga. She moved to Atlanta where she met and married Jack on July 1, 1949. She is survived by three children, Larry and wife Pattie Brown, Judi Atkins, Pat and wife Lynn Brown. Six grandchildren, Holli, Cyndi, Kerry, Jaime, Dalton and Dylan, 11 great grandchildren and one great great Granddaughter.

Ruby loved to garden and sing. She was the youth choir director for many years at Cedar Grove Baptist church. She loved working with children and young adults teaching them about her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will be lovingly missed by her family and everyone she affectionately called “Sugar”.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday October 11, 2022 at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Deckard officiating. Interment will follow Wednesday in Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service.
