Ruby June Atkinson

Ruby June Atkinson, age 91, of Cumming, GA, danced her way to heaven on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. She was born in 1925, to the late Amos and Minnie Brockett. Ruby was a member of Christ Fellowship Church in Dawsonville, GA and volunteered at Northside Hospital Forsyth and was active at the Forsyth County Senior Center. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Fred Atkinson. Ruby is survived by her children, Barbara (Charles) Moore of Cumming, GA, and Connie (David) Andrew of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Rick (Alicia) Byrd of Hoschton, GA, Andrea (Travis) Rhoads of Roswell, GA, Alisa (Tom) Bowie of Lawrenceville, GA, Tommy (Lori) Andrew of Cuming, GA, and April (Jon) Ryan of Cumming, GA; great grandchildren, Johnny (Ellie) Andrew of Cumming, GA, Lauren and Alex Andrew both of Cumming, GA, and Jacob and Natalie Ryan of Cumming, GA, Ethan and Rory Byrd of Hoschton, GA, and Anniston Rhoads of Roswell, GA; great-great grandchild, Josiah Andrew of Cumming, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Jimmy (Marry) Brockett of Illinois, Charles Brockett of Illinois, and Art Brockett of Sparta, TN; along with many other loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 27th, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel in Cumming, GA, with Pastor Todd Smith officiating. Interment will be held Tuesday, at 1:00 p.m. at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceville, GA. The Family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday, December 26th from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Service.
