Russell Lynn Picklesimer

Russell Picklesimer, age 56, of Forsyth County, GA, went to be with his Savior on January 17, 2025. One of God’s special angels, Russell was a member of Christian Hill Baptist Church. He loved his church and church family. Although he had his disabilities, Russell could pray, preach, and witness without saying a single word. He was such a blessing for all that knew him. He is preceded in death by his father, William Picklesimer; grandparents, Claude and Eulene Pruitt, A.B. and Nannie Picklesimer; great niece, Avery Picklesimer; great nephew, Hunter Bagby. 

He is survived by his loving mother, Judy Picklesimer; brother, Richard (Jennifer) Picklesimer; sister, Kathy (Lyn) Bagby; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. 

The family would like to also thank Guiding Light Hospice for their love and care for Russell. 

 A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Caine, Rev. Barry Payne, Rev. Wilbur Ridings. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 18th, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 19th, from 2:00 until 8:00 PM, and again on Monday, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.
