Ruth M. Barrett

Ruth M. Barrett, 95, of Marietta, GA, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, June 14, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents. Oscar and Betty Padgett and 10 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her children, Richard Barrett of Tallapoosa, GA, Suzan Dobson of McMinnville, TN, Gail Hart of Tallapoosa, GA, David and Alece Winters of Jasper, GA; grandchildren, Kim and Willie Wheeling, Christal and Ricky Dover, Raymond East, III, Tony Hart, Stacy Hart, Brian Hart, Samantha Barrett, Alesha Watkins, Shelly Morrow, several great and great great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 18, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Padgett officiating. Interment will follow at New Harmony Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
