Ruth Ann (Keffer) Friedrichs

Ruth Ann (Keffer) Friedrichs, late of Cumming, Georgia, was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She went to be with the Lord on September 22, 2022 at the age of 91. 

She was born to Oliff and Faith B. Keffer, in Van, West Virginia, on September 3, 1931. 

She is survived by her daughter Ann F. Hensley (Henry), and sons Edward Scott Friedrichs, DVM (Kimberly) & David Fletcher Friedrichs (Tammy). Grandchildren: Justin Hensley (Sarah), Zachary Hensley, Kyle Friedrichs (Devan), Kristina Friedrichs, Jenna Friedrichs and Reece Friedrichs. Sisters: Nancy Morrison and Mary Lee Leiser (Bill).

Ruth Ann was one of five daughters, all of whom graduated college which was uncommon at that time. After graduation from West Virginia University, she worked in Washington D.C. for American Airlines before marrying Edward Cree Friedrichs. They were married 58 years before his passing in 2014. Ruth Ann enjoyed playing golf, bridge, traveling and socializing with friends and family. She was a member of the Chi Omega sorority at WVU and held life-long friendships with her Chi-O sisters. 

Ruth Ann was very strong in her faith and was an active member of Fellowship Presbyterian Church in Jasper, Ga. while also volunteering in the community. She loved having her friends and family around her whenever possible. She was a very well-mannered lady who sought to bring out the good in everyone. She always let it be known that you were loved, appreciated and an important part of her life.

Ruth Ann, Mom, Nana, you will be greatly missed and were a blessing to all in your life.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, November 5, at 4:30 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends the hour prior to the service.
