Sam Fadlo Hosni

Sam Fadlo Hosni, 87, of Cumming, GA passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023 at his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fadl Allah and Hend Hosni; his brothers, Michael Hosni and Fouad Hosni.

Sam is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Nadia Hanna Bishara Hosni; their son, Paul Hosni and his wife Amanda and grandchildren Hudson and Ella Hosni of Cumming, GA. His sisters Hoda Daheb of San Mateo, California and Nadia Moufarrige of Lebanon; his brother-in-law Rafik Bishara and his wife Pat of Carmel, Indiana.

Sam was born on June 6, 1936 in Cairo, Egypt. He married the love of his life, Nadia on June 26, 1966. In 1968 Sam and Nadia moved to the United States where he became a US Citizen and started a career in petroleum engineering. 

Sam was a Godly, strong, quiet man who approached life with unwavering passion for the things he loved. He worked hard to provide the best life for his family. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. He loved fishing and any time spent near the water. While living in Houston, Texas, Sam was a faithful member of Tallowood Baptist Church and actively involved in Bible Study Fellowship.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 10:30am at Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA 30040. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Friday, July 28, 2023 beginning at 9:30am prior to the service. After the service a private lunch at the home of Paul and Amanda Hosni will be arranged for family members and close friends from Cumming and those who have traveled to attend the celebration of Sam’s life.
