Samuel “Mark “Guldenschuh, age 67, passed away on January 1, 2025, following a long, courageous battle with Early Onset Alzheimer’s disease. Mark was born in Atlanta,Georgia. His family moved to Brandon, Florida where they lived for ten years before returning to Georgia and settling in Stone Mountain. Mark was preceded in death by his parents; Ralph and Virginia Vawter Guldenschuh and father-in-law Edd Hill. 

Mark is survived by his wife of 37 years, Tanya Hill Guldenschuh, children; Samuel Grant Guldenschuh (Avery), Grayson Hill Guldenschuh (Kianna), mother-in-law, Jalanie Poole Hill, brothers; Greg Guldenschuh (Linda), JoelGuldenschuh and Paul Guldenschuh, granddaughter; Palmer Guldenschuh;  brother in law Shannon Hill(Terri) as well as several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate Mark’s life will be held in the Chapel of Perimeter Church in Johns Creek, Georgia, on Thursday, January 9th at 11am, with a luncheon reception to follow in the fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be sent to Grace Arbor, an adult day care center at Lawrenceville First United Methodist Church, where Mark attended for many years and loved it dearly. Checks or bill pay may be sent to 395 W. Crogan Street, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Attention: Grace Arbor, in memory of Mark Guldenschuh. The family also welcomes donations to the Alzheimer’s Association in Mark’s honor.
